Bike - outdoors Kits - Bean Around The World, 1945 Cornwall Ave Saturdays leaving at 9:30am beginning January 11th; easy paced 2-3 hr group ride for intermediate-experienced riders; ride leader - Jessica
Bike Windtrainer Workouts Steed Cycles, 1550 Marine Dr, North Vancouver Saturdays beginning January 11th; indoor windtrainer sessions with technical drills and intervals (bring your own bike and windtrainer); 8:45am setup, 9:00am workout starts; finish at 10am
Feb 16 Social *** After workouts on Feb 16 there will be a lunch hosted by Vince. Please RSVP to Mark if you plan on coming, as he needs to know numbers.
Feb 23 revised workouts RUN - 9:30am meet at Burnaby Lake at changerooms beside the sports fields(Take the Trans Canada Highway. Exit at Kensington Avenue North to Sprott Street and Sperling Avenue); SWIM 12-1:30 at Templeton Pool (700 Templeton Dr, near Nanaimo and Hastings in East Van)
Feb 9 revised workouts RUN at 9:00am at Brockton Oval in Stanley Park (changerooms beside gravel track near Aquarium); Swim is cancelled - some people may want to go to the Vancouver Aquatic Centre on their own after the run
Interval/Tempo Runs Vancouver Aquatic Centre, 1050 Beach Ave Thursdays 6:15-7:30pm begins January 9; mixed pace fartlek and tempo runs on seawall. TIME CHANGE - beginning in February, we will start at 6:00pm
North Shore Swims William Griffin Pool, 851 W Queens Rd, North Vancouver Wednesdays + Fridays 5:45-7:00am; begins January 8; intervals and strokework
UBC Runs parking lot 200m West of Blanca St on W 16th Ave Sundays 10:00am begins January 5th; long run on trails with options for various distances; NOTE: Feb 9 RUN IS MOVED - check schedule for new location and time
UBC Swims UBC Aquatic Centre, 6121 University Blvd Sundays 12:00-1:00 starting January 12th; intervals and strokework. NOTE: Feb 9 SWIM CANCELLED and RUN MOVED; Feb 23 UBC RUN AND SWIM CANCELLED - check schedule for new location.

 

321 TriClub Membership Costs and Benefits:

As of January 1, our annual membership fee plus quarterly training fees apply. Benefits include: workouts led by Mark or another experienced coach whenever possible; access to club area of 321 Website (club training schedule, message board, newsletter and articles); free t-shirt; discounts on club clothing and clinics; 15% discount at NS Athletics; 20% discount at Steed Cycles; product package from PowerBar; socials; and discount on TriBC membership (mandatory for insurance purposes) Membership is open to all people interested in training for triathlons. Additional workouts may be added depending on demand.
