Rachel McBride had an outstanding race to finish 5th in the senior elite national championships today. After a solid swim in 10th position, Rachel rode the first 4 of 6 laps on her own before finishing the bike with a pack in 7th, then posting the 3rd fastest run to move up to 5th.
The race was won by Paula Findlay of Edmonton, while Brent McMahon of Victoria won the men's division.
